PBS BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE
On this sheet there are selections filters on the top of the page to narrow down the data as needed. The top left of the sheet has a line chart showing year over year comparison. On the top right is table listing the month and year of the journal entry, the account number and description and total amount. Along the bottom are two charts showing each departments contribution. The bar chart is showing overall contributions by department and account type, while the pie chart is showing each department’s share of overall gross profit.
The Counter Sales Sheet shows sales information from parts invoices. At the top left is a bar chart showing the sales of the top 10 parts invoice contacts for the selected date range. On the top left is a doughnut chart showing invoice price codes share of sales. In the middle is a row of KPIs showing parts invoice sales, cost, gross profit and gross profit margin. Along the bottom is a table showing details of the above visualizations.
Parts Counter Sales Daily Chart
The Counter Sales Daily Chart Sheet breaks out parts invoice sales and gross profit by the day of month. Along the top selections can be made to filter down the data to show only what is needed.
Sales Rep Performance
The Sales Rep Performance Sheet shows deal information by sales rep. At the top of the sheet are selection filters to narrow down the results to only the data that is needed. In the top left is a line chart showing top 10 sales reps by sold deal gross. Over to the top right are KPIs showing average deal gross, average vehicle gross, number of sold deals, and number of total deals. Below the KPIs is a doughnut chart showing the number of sold deals broken down by new or used vehicle type. To the right is a bar chart showing the number of deals by month. Along the bottom are two bar charts, the one on the left shows total vehicle gross profit by sales rep and to the right is the number of deals by sales rep.
The Ordering Analysis shows information from sold vehicles. Along the top of the sheet are selection filters to narrow down the data to specific dealerships and dates. In the top left is a bar chart showing the number of deals for each vehicle option. On the top right is a pie chart showing the percent of deals for each vehicle exterior colour. On the bottom left is a bar chart showing the number of deals and quotes by vehicle, selecting a vehicle make will drill down to vehicle trim. At the bottom right of the sheet is a table showing deal information used in the visualizations.
Repair Order Analysis
The Repair Order Analysis displays an overview of the service department’s performance. At the top are selection filters to narrow down the data to what is needed. Over on the top left is a line chart showing daily labour sales by day of month. Over to the top right is a bar chart showing the number of repair orders by repair order advisor. On the bottom left is a doughnut chart showing the percent of labour sales by labour price code. And over to the bottom right are KPIs to show the number of repair orders, total sold and actual hours, the number of waiters and comebacks as well as the sold hours per repair order and overall effective labour rate.
The Technician Information provides measures of technician performance in various ways. Along the top are selection filters to narrow down the data to what is needed. Over on the upper left is a combination chart, the bars represent the total sold and actual hours of each technician and the line shows the percent of sold hours to actual hours for each technician. To the left is a KPI showing the overall technician performance and a table listing the repair order and the technician performance. Down on the bottom of the sheet is a pivot table listing many measures to analyse the technicians by, these are broken down by pay type and technician. Pivot tables can be reorganized and exported.
The WIP KPIs Sheet displays totals for labour, parts and sublet items on open portions of repair orders and breaks them out by pay type. Along the top of the sheet are filters to narrow down the data to what is needed. Below them are the KPIs for labour cost, sublet cost and parts cost on open portions of repair orders. the bottom of the sheet contains a line chart showing the number of open repair orders by age in days.
Deals Returned for Service
The Deals Returned for Service Sheet displays information about vehicles that have been sold and whether or not they have returned for service. At the top of the page are selection filters to narrow down the data. Along the left are two tables that list customers that have returned for service in the top left, and on the bottom left are customers that have not returned for service. On the top right is a bar chart that shows a comparison of the number of deals and the number of deals returned for service on a month by month basis. On the bottom right are KPIs to show the percent of deals returned for service and the number of deals that have or have not returned for service.
